Are you physically or mentally affected by stalking? Have you been stalked or are you still being stalked? Do you think that therapy can help you? Then group therapy might be relevant for you.

Danish Stalking Centre offers therapy in groups for men and women victimised by stalking. In the group, we will focus on how the stalking has affected you and the relations of which you are a part. Together, we will examine how you can deal with the crisis in which you find yourself in the best possible way. The aim of the group therapy is for you to strengthen your resources and find new ways of coping through a professional dialogue. Our psychologists who have the experience in treating and counselling victims of stalking will lead the group.

The group consists of eight participants and two therapists. The group meet every Wednesday in the late afternoon for three hours. The group has continuous admission, so you can participate in the group for as long as you need, and we let new people in when there is a new spot open.

Networking groups for victims of stalking

Danish Stalking Centre offers networking groups for men and women victimised by stalking. The aim of the networking group is to meet other people who are in a similar situation and break with the loneliness and social isolation experienced by many victims of stalking.

In the networking group, you will get the opportunity to share your difficult experiences, but small and large victories as well, in a safe setting with other victims of stalking who have personal experience with and know what it means to be in a situation of fear, unpredictability and limited self-expression. You will also be able to find support and share experiences in handling and locating resources and strength for functioning in your everyday life despite the stalking – while it is happening and after the stalking has ceased.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]Based on the participants’ needs, focus will also be on relevant themes such as dealing with anxiety, stress and social isolation. There will be held presentations on stalking where relatives can come and will be more specific advice in relation to documentation, security, contact with the police, public authorities and relevant subsidiary bodies, etc.

The networking group consists of 5-8 participants, and the group meet eight times, once every two weeks. Two volunteer group leaders with experience in counselling and talk therapy lead the group. The group has continuous admission, so you can participate in the group for as long as you need, and we let new people in when there is a new spot open.
